Krishnam Raju's Challenge For Prabhas

Prabhas has come into the industry taking the name of his uncle, Krishnam Raju. Although there will be a few mannerisms of Prabhas those coincide with Krishnam Raju, he is showcasing his originality with hard work. Freshly, Krishnam Raju has challenged Prabhas indirectly through Kota Sreenivasa Rao.

Krishnam Raju said, "In a film function, Kota Sreenivasa Rao told me that Prabhas overtook me in performance. I said that I agree for that only when Prabhas plays my role in the film 'Mana Voori Pandavulu'. If I make any remake of old classic in future, I would make only 'Mana Voori Pandavulu' with Prabhas".

Well, is that not an indirect challenge to Prabhas by his paternal uncle? Let us see when he fulfils that. Is Prabhas listening to it?

Meanwhile, this is the second film of Boyapati Sreenu after Bhadra. And most new director’s in the industry suffer from the second film itch. And all their second films have flopped!

Let’s just hope that Boyapati Sreenu breaks the jinx.

Brahmanandam Called Mohan Babu 'Ox'

Certain times the similes (comparisons) in speech put down the persons although the intention of the speaker is to glorify them. Similar thing happened during the audio release function of 'Yama Donga'.

Brahmanandam, during his speech, said, "We have two oxen on this dais. One is Mohan Babu, the Ongole Ox and the other is NTR, a tiny calf that is actively jumping".

Although the intention of Brahmanandam is to glorify the strength of those two actors, the comparison with animals sounded inappropriate for many of their fans. But there is no uproar during the event and everyone maintained their poise. Even Mohan Babu and NTR are quite while Brahmanandam was speaking.

K.Viswanath-Veturi Combination Again

Now the classic duo Veturi Sundara Rama Murthy and K Vishwanath are on making a devotional music album in video format. Parthasarathy is singing all the songs in the album in which a song is being directed by K Vishwanath. Well, the title of the album is 'Sivashtapadi'. There will be 8 songs in the album.

The devotional albums click well only when it is Sanskritised. Sirivennel Seeetha Rama Sastry earlier released an album on Lord Shiva and recently music director Veena Pani also released one on devotion. Tanikella Bharani released a music album on Lord Shiva. All these were in audio format. The commercial success of these albums is modicum. All the successful devotional albums in recent times were in Sanskrit targeting wider sect of Hindu population in entire India. 'Vishwa Vinayaka' is considered to be the super hit devotional album in recent time composed by Atul and Ajay. They also bagged the chance to compose music for 'Gaayab' and other films.

We have to see how this 'Sivashtapadi' emerges out.

Sneha Says 'Actress' Means 'Problems'!

Heroine Sneha says that once a girl becomes an actress, she is bound to face problems. Taking to a Tamil magazine she said that an actress has to face problems from different segments of society apart from finding craze in fans.

"I define 'actress' as a 'problem'. Actresses see many problems from home front as well. We have also seen a few actresses those ended up their lives due to problems from family front. But I'm lucky to have great parents who understand me in all the ways. I have seen some problems in my public life, but the support extended by my family members is really good in that aspect, with which I came out from worries. Hence I only heard about the family problems of actresses but never experienced them anytime", said Sneha.

Sneha is now pairing up with Raja in the film directed by Giri Babu.

Udaykiran's Laxmiputrudu making brisk progress

Lakshmi Putrudu - the bilingual movie of Uday Kiran and Diya, in the direction of Kollywood's successful director Rajkapoor with Polisetty Rambabu as producer is under brisk progress. RS Films Banner is making the film in Telugu and Tamil. The shoot of the flick commenced on July 18 th. Currently, a song – Ekkadunna Tension mama.. Ekkadavellu tension mama – under the choreography of Nixon is under canning at Golconda tombs, outskirts of Hyderabad. Kandikonda penned the lyric.

Talking to the media, producer Rambabu said that his previous film Godameedha Pilli didn't fetch him any financial returns. "This is my second film. I am thankful to Uday Kiran for doing this film. I am happy Rajkapoor, a sensation in direction at Kollywood sector is doing this film. He did about 23 films in Tamil, including with big heroes." He further said the film is coming up as a bilingual project in Telugu and Tamil. The audio is planned in the first week of August, while the screen hit too is scheduled to take place at the earliest.

Director Rajkapoor, who makes his entry with this film in Telugu, said: "My success rate in Tamil remains about 80%. I can gainsay Uday Kiran is the best actor for a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu. He has extraordinary ease in histrionics. Different story has become the slogan of today's film industry. But, ours is really a different subject. We have all the elements to give rich entertainment. The highlight of the film is the father-son sentiment."

Hero Uday Kiran thanked Rambabu and Rajkapoor for their cooperation. "Satyaraj plays the father to my character in the film. The title is also justified. While veteran actor Satyaraj plays the role of Lakshminarayana, I do his son's role. I am hopeful that the father-son sentiment is going to be a major attraction in the movie. The younger generation these days is grossly neglecting the older generation, sending them to destitute homes or leaving them on the roads. Under these circumstances, I am sure; Lakshmi Purtudu would help create some iota of realization among them."

Bengali girl Nayana, making her debut for item song, thanked the filmmakers for giving her an opportunity in Telugu film industry.
