Suman is open for villain and negative characters

Tollywood actor Suman says he is open for villain and negative characters in the films, if “they are substantial and have good importance’’. Suman is happy the success of Sivaji in which he made debut as ‘villain’. “I was hesitant when Shankar offered the role. But he and Rajnikanth convinced me. I am happy that I got good praise from all quarters,” Suman said. “I am open for negative roles if our Telugu filmmakers come with interesting characters,” he informed.Suman who is now doing more mythological characters said an actor’s job is to do different kind of roles and should stuck to one imag

Anushka Busy in 3 top MOVIES

Anushka is busy in Telugu movie industry with her films. She has starred with Nagarjuna and is acting in his latest film “Don” as well. She is also starring in Balakrishna’s film “Okka Magadu”. Another film with Jagapathi Babu and her ready for release film Lakshyam with Gopichand. She has even bough a flat in Hyderabad.

Hansika is in proposal for NTR's Next Film!

Hansika who made debut with Desamuduru is now busy in Bollywood too. Her maiden film as heroine in Hindi - Aap Ka Suroor is due for release. After the release of Desamuduru, Hansika refused to act in Telugu films even though she was flooded with many offers that are very lucrative.

But it seems she will have to loosen up her stand on not working in Tollywood. She is now being considered for NTR’s next movie, Kantri (title is under consideration) to be directed by Meher Ramesh. She is said to have persuaded by Ramesh. As Ramesh was script associate for Desamuduru, Hansika is planning to act in this film. It is to be produced by Ashwini Dutt.

But she is yet to make up her mind and give dates to the film. There are thick chances of she acting in the film, though.

Bunny movie's recorded in Malayalam(Kerala)

Its known that Allu Arjun's movies have a very good market in Karnataka. All his movies, include the average grosser Happy did very good business in the Karnataka. But, he has a new market for him. His movie, Arya was dubbed into Malayalam and went onto become a big hit. The audio was a chart-topper and was always played on TV and radio. Luckily, his next movie that was dubbed – Happy too did well. There are not many urbane romantic comedies made in Malayalam, and these two films filled that void. Though, Bunny released prior to Happy – the movie is now being dubbed into Malayalam, now considering that the hero is familiar face. The movie's dubbing rights have been grabbed for 18 lakhs, which the highest for any telugu films so far.

Lawrence choreographs for SankarDadaZindabad

The talkie part of Megastar Chiranjeevi's Shankar Dada Zindabad is almost complete. There are five songs in the movie, of which three have already been composed. Three of them would be picturized in Australia, while the remaining two would be shot locally. While Prabhudeva himself is a choreographer, he has given his former protégé Lawrence, who is now also a director the chance to choreograph. Lawrence would be composing the steps for two songs in the film. The movie is going to release in the month of June 2007, as the makers would like to maintain a gap with Ram Charan Teja's Chirutha.

Tarun's new Film Chandamama tho okati cheppali after present film

Nagesh Naradasi, who directed ‘Sri Sathyanarayana Swamy Vratham’ is going to direct a film which has Tarun in the lead. The movie is going to be produced by Medikonda Murali Krishna who made Narasimha Naidu in the past. The movie is titled “Chandamama tho okati cheppali.”

The shooting of Tarun's new film directed by Shahjahan and Produced by Paras Jain on Mega Super Good Films banner and presented by RB Choudary is already in progress . This is the remake of a successful Tamil film titled Punnagai Desam. A colony set would be erected on Necklace Road and we will continue shooting there and complete it next schedule.” Actor Tarun who acted in its original Tamil version is confident that it will do well in Telugu too. “I played hero in the Tamil version and I am confident that it will become a hit in Telugu as well,” he said at that time about that film. Presenter of the film RB Choudary said that it will be a youthful and musical entertainer with Telugu nativity to attract all sections of audience. Writer Rajendrakumar also said that it would be based on love with friendship in the background.

It has actors like Priyamani, Sunil, Rohit, Skash, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani, Jeeva, Telangana Sakuntala, Ahuti Prasad, Sana, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and Sudarshan in the cast. Shahjahan has provided the story and screenplay of the film besides directing it. SA Rajkumar is taking care of the music with lyrics by ES Murthy and dialogues by Rajendrakumar. Sarvesh Murari is handling the camera and Nandamuri Hari is the editor.

Posani Krishnamurali to direct Rajasekhar fro next Film?

Maganti Gopinath, who earlier produced films like Ravanna, Badradri Ramudu, is planning a film with Dr. Rajasekhar. The film is still in planning stages and might be directed by Posani Krishnamurali who recently made driving film Operation Dhuryodhana. The production banner good rapport with Posani as he provided story for both the above mentioned films. Market has pulled up for Rajasekhar after Yevadaithe Nakenti. It has to be seen if this combination will work out.

Veera Shankar's efforts paid off, gets 25 Lakhs

First of its kind, the co-ordinating committee has decided that producer MS Raju has to pay 25Lakhs to director Veera Shankar.Earlier a co-ordinating committee was put in place after Veera Shankar lodged a complaint with the film chamber that MS Raju copied episodes from his Kannada film Namma Basava without his consent. He polled support from the directors in the industry and that led to the setting up of a co-ordinating committee consisting of equal number of producers and directors. The committee would watch both the films and then decide if the case was legitimate.

According to reliable sources, the committee is convinced about the complaint and offered a negotiation payout of 25 Lakhs to Veera Shankar from MS Raju. It has to be seen if this would mark a new turn with Tollywood makers when it comes to free lifting.

Priyamani is a happy soul these days with more and more offers pouring in from Tollywood. Her recent Kollywood flick 'Paruthi Veeran' is also proved to be a hit. Currently, the actress is looking forward to the release of 'Toss', in which she is playing the lead opposite Raja and Upendra. It is said that she eagerly wants to assess her performance.
