Daler voices for Ntr

Hindi pop singer, (actually Punjabi pop singer) is voicing for Jr Ntr for Yamadonga movie. He is the male play-back singer for Ntr for one song in Yamadonga. He is singing a song called nuvvantene padichastane….. a romantic duet.

This song will be presented by Ntr to M.M.Keeravani because he composed the music for this movie. Keeravani is full happies as he reached to the top music directors’ list and also fulfilled his dream of composing music for Daler Mehendi ….top bollywood pop singer. (once up on a time).

The song and Yamadonga movie is being directed by S.S.Rajamouli and is being produced by Gunnam Ganga Raju and Cherry.

Garuda ready for release in Telugu


The successful Thai Movie Garuda dubbed and released with English subtitles in 2004, is being dubbed into Telugu with the same title. The film has completed the dubbing works and is ready for release. The film is being being released under the Laksmi Vinayaka Films banner and the producer is Bhavani Masthan.

The film is about ferocious animals that stalked the earth before the Stone Age. A section of the animals get supernatural powers and the story revolves round them. The film is heavy on graphics which will be the highlight of the film. The film will be released simultaneously in Telugu and English. Manathon Aryankoon is the director.

RamaNaidu dropped Idea of “BHALE JODI”

Talk is that veteran Telugu producer Ramanaidu has dropped off the idea of starting “Bhale Jodi”. According to rumours, he is not fully satisfied with the script. So he has second thoughts about launching the film.

Bhale Jodi was to start this month with Srikanth, Rishi, Sneha and Charmi as the lead pair and Muppalaneni Shiva as the director.

Rajni's SIVAJI is the 'boss' even in Britain

The charisma of one man, Rajnikant, has helped movie 'Sivaji: The Boss' overtake Hollywood biggies like 'Fantastic Four', 'Ocean's 13' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End' at the BOX-OFFICE in Britain last weekend, according to trade data.

'Sivaji' has collected Rs 13.6 million in its opening weekend in Britain, proving yet again that the popularity of the south Indian actor is well beyond the Indian territory.

The film, which shows iconic Rajnikant, 57, wooing and dancing with an actress almost half his age, has been lapped up by the audience who would not want to miss the superstar's antics.

'Sivaji', which is being shown only in 12 screens in Britain, has fetched one of the biggest starting collections ever in the island and has put to shame the much hyped Yash Raj film 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', which has only collected nearly Rs 23 million despite being shown in 47 screens.

The mammoth overseas earnings have come about although some pro-LTTE websites called upon the Sri Lankan diaspora to boycott themovie Rajnikant's previous remarks critical of the Tamil Tigers.

An African safari for Vikram's TAMIL Film

African locales will replace Tamil filmmakers' favourite shooting venues in Western Europe and Australia in the forthcoming film 'Kandasamy', featuring popular star Vikram.

Susi Ganesan, dirctor of the mega-budget film, has chosen locations in three African countries, after a 35-day long tour of the continent.

He told the media after his return from the tour: 'So far Australia, Switzerland and the UK have provided the preferred settings for sequences of Tamil films. We wanted to shoot such scenes for our film in some other countries.'

Ganesan has identified locations in wildlife rich Kenya and Tanzania for sequences that would be visual treats for the audience. Shooting in these venues will start in August.

'Kandasamy' will be the next big film for versatile Vikram after the much-awaited 'Bheema', with screen scorcher Trisha as his heroine.

It is learnt that Vikram had put on weight for his oversized role in 'Bheema'. His publicity representatives are, however, not saying if the actor, known to be very selective about his roles, is on a crash diet for 'Kandasamy'.

K.L.Narayana Film with Mahesh Babu

Mahesh Babu, the Block Buster Hero is presently doing a film “Atithi” produced by his brother Rameshbabu on the banner of Krishna Productions under the direction of Surender Reddy, with Bollywood girl Amrita Rao playing opposite him in the female lead.

After this film, Maheshbabu is going to act in a film to be produced by Dr KL Narayana on the banner of Durga Arts in which Jasti Hemambar is making his debut as director.Young music director Devisri Prasad is going to score music for the flick.

As Per the Sources, The film would be formally launched on August 9 and “Mirchi” is the title under consideration for the movie.

Mullapudi Vara's film with Allari Naresh & Rajeev Kanakala

The new and untitled movie of Allari Naresh and Rajiv Kanakala is launched today at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad . Made on Markwell Entertainment banner, the muhurat of the movie witnessed the gathering of Tollywood elite. SS Rajamouli presents this movie while Mullapudi Vara (NTR's Naa Alludu director) is the director. He also provided the story. Producers are Satya Prasad, Tulasi Prasad and Jayram Shetty. Chandrasekhar Yeleti is providing the screenplay.

Jr. NTR clapped on the lead actors Allari Naresh and Rajeev Kanakala. VV Vinayak switched on the camera, while first shot is directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. Puja is performed by EVV Satyanarayana. The director received the script from Rajamouli and Surendar Reddy.

SS Rajamouli said that his relationship with Vara Mullapudi has a special dimension – from jealousy to friendship. He said he was impressed with the subject of Vara for this current film. "My busy schedules with Yamadonga didn't permit me to produce this film. However, Rajeev brought the producers. I am sure that this film will become a good commercial entertainer. Suspense element is the king in this subject."

Chandrasekhar Yeleti, known for his extraordinary screenplay, said that his assurance to the audience to give superb screenplay could be taken for granted. Director Vara thanked the patronage of SS Rajamouli and Chandu. He said both Naresh and Rajeev Kanakala hold excellent footage and great scope for performance on the screen.

Ali's Thinnama, Padumkunnama, Thellaridha

The new movie of Ali - "Tinnama, Padukunnama, Tellarindha" - is launched today at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad on 21st of this month. Nagarjuna and K Raghavendra Rao attended the event as chief guests. The film is produced by S.S.Rao and direction is by debutante Ram Kumar. Jyothi Krishna and Shivani play the two heroines. Music is by MM Srilekha. Ali plays the solo hero in this film. Ram Kumar said that the subject is exclusively tailored for Ali, with mix of sentiment and comedy. Unlike the regular comedy flicks, this venture will be treated in a different manner, he said. Ali said he felt happy to be doing another film as solo hero after the success of Gundammagari Manavadu. A poster displayed at the venue showing Ali in three different getups - Chiru's Indra, Nag's Mass and NBK's Narasimhanaidu - evoked curiosity.

POKURI BABU RAO Agaian with Gopichand

Actor Gopichand,we hear, is teaming up with his uncle, well-known Tollywood producer POKURI BABU RAO, for the thrid time. Their earlier films Yagnam and Ranam were blockbusters and the duo is hoping that their combo will work wonders at the box office this time too."Tt's fun working with my uncle.He is a director's producer and never interferes in matters of creativity," says the nephew. BV RAMANA of Gowri fame is directing the film in which BHAVANA of Tamil blockbusters Veli and Deepawali will play the feamale lead.
