Gautham Menon's recent hit in Telugu as Drohi

It can be safely said that Gautham Menon is a well known name to the South Indian audience. His Khaka Khaka with Surya in the lead is such a blockbuster hit that it gave a new dimension to hero Surya and also remade/dubbed into almost all south Indian languages. (In Telugu, the film is remade as Gharshana with Venkatesh in the lead and Gautham directed the film). After Khaka Khaka, Gautham's Vettayadu Veliyadu with Kamal also did good at the box office. He recently added hatrick to his kitty with Pachaikili Muthucharam starring Sarat Kumar and Jyothika. This is an emotional thriller and stands for the quality that the director provides being both not-run-of-the-mill movies and commerically successful.

Pachaikili Muthucharam is now getting dubbed into Telugu as Drohi. Sarat Kumar started his film career in Telugu and did several negative roles and also supporting roles before he came big in Tamil. Jyothika also did a couple of films in Telugu and got herself the recognition. 'The cast and crew and very much recognized in Andhra, and that is what gives us the confidence', says Vijaykumar, one of the producers of the film in Telugu. Ramana, Vijaykumar and Sridhar got the Telugu dubbing rights for this film. Harris Jayraj composed music for the film and the songs are superb. Vennelakanti provided lyrics for the songs in Telugu. Sashank Vennelakanti wrote the dialogs. At present, DTS mixing is going on. Audio will release in the third week of August and film will release in the first week of September.
