"BRAMHA - the Creato"r now as "RUDRA - the Warrior"



The new film, starring Kiran Tej and Rajiv Kanakala as heroes and titled Rudra, The Warrior, is launched today to an impressive gathering at Annapoorna Studios, Hyderabad. Bittu Productions banner is making the film with Srinivas Paidala as the producer and Subbarao Gosangi as the director. Music is by Chakri. The story is about how the hero, returning from the US, tackles the maladies in education field. Akkineni Nageswara Rao clapped the muhurt shot. SV Krishna Reddy switched on the camera, and first shot direction was by EVV Satyanarayana.

The muhurt shot was taken on Kiran Tej, Pradeep Rawat and debut heroine Chahath – to the rendering of the dialogue:

Pradeep Rawat as police officer: Yei, Evadra Nuvvu? (Who are you?)
Kiran Tej: Rudra, Anyayanni yedhirinchadaaniki vacchina Rudra. (Rudra, who came to fight out injustice)
Chahat to Pradeep Rawat: Uncle, he is my boy friend.

The regular shoot will begin on August 6th and continue till next month end. After that, a month-long abroad schedule with both songs canning and talkie part would be taken up. The probable locations are New Zealand, Hong Kong or Mauritius). The filmmakers are planning to release the film as Christmas gift.

Producer Srinivas Paidala said their earlier film on Bittu Productions with Kiran Tej as solo hero is still going successfully, completing 155 days. He hoped that their second film Rudra will also bring them superb results commercially and professionally. Paidala expressed his special thanks to Chakri for giving music to the film. He also thanked Akkineni, SV Krishna Reddy and EVV for their cooperation in the launch of the film. Music director Chakri said both himself and Srinivas Paidala entered the industry at the same time. Wishing the team all the best, he said he would do his level best to score excellent music for the flick. In all he scores music for six songs with their lyrics from Bhaskara Batla and Kandikonda.

Director Subbarao Gosangi thanked producer for his patronage. He said he also gave the story and screenplay for the film. The subject deals with the rampant prevalence of corruption in the education field. "Due to lack of education among the poor, the society is led to irreparable damages. We want to give a message to the government and the public as well". Rajiv Kanakala, plays one among the two heroes, as a journalist. Ram-Lakshman are composing the stunts. Vijay Krishna is the Art director. Chandramohan, MS Narayana, Sivaji Raja, Ali, Rajan P. Dev, Duvvasi, Shakeela and others are doing vital character roles.
