Vishal and Priya Mani meet with an accident

Malaikottai is an upcoming film in tamil and is planning to be released in telugu where Priya Mani and Vishal are teaming up for the first time, the shooting for which is going on in film city in Chennai. The scene had required Vishal and Priya to travel in a motor cycle when the villain gang will be chasing them in five autos.

When this shot was being canned at a feverish pitch, one of the autos unexpectedly collided with the motor cycle which resulted in Vishal losing his balance and getting thrown out of the vehicle along with Priya. Due to this mishap Vishal sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was treated. Luckily for Priya Mani, she had escaped the accident unscathed. Subsequently the shooting of Malaikottai was called off.
