Udaykiran's Laxmiputrudu making brisk progress

Lakshmi Putrudu - the bilingual movie of Uday Kiran and Diya, in the direction of Kollywood's successful director Rajkapoor with Polisetty Rambabu as producer is under brisk progress. RS Films Banner is making the film in Telugu and Tamil. The shoot of the flick commenced on July 18 th. Currently, a song – Ekkadunna Tension mama.. Ekkadavellu tension mama – under the choreography of Nixon is under canning at Golconda tombs, outskirts of Hyderabad. Kandikonda penned the lyric.

Talking to the media, producer Rambabu said that his previous film Godameedha Pilli didn't fetch him any financial returns. "This is my second film. I am thankful to Uday Kiran for doing this film. I am happy Rajkapoor, a sensation in direction at Kollywood sector is doing this film. He did about 23 films in Tamil, including with big heroes." He further said the film is coming up as a bilingual project in Telugu and Tamil. The audio is planned in the first week of August, while the screen hit too is scheduled to take place at the earliest.

Director Rajkapoor, who makes his entry with this film in Telugu, said: "My success rate in Tamil remains about 80%. I can gainsay Uday Kiran is the best actor for a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu. He has extraordinary ease in histrionics. Different story has become the slogan of today's film industry. But, ours is really a different subject. We have all the elements to give rich entertainment. The highlight of the film is the father-son sentiment."

Hero Uday Kiran thanked Rambabu and Rajkapoor for their cooperation. "Satyaraj plays the father to my character in the film. The title is also justified. While veteran actor Satyaraj plays the role of Lakshminarayana, I do his son's role. I am hopeful that the father-son sentiment is going to be a major attraction in the movie. The younger generation these days is grossly neglecting the older generation, sending them to destitute homes or leaving them on the roads. Under these circumstances, I am sure; Lakshmi Purtudu would help create some iota of realization among them."

Bengali girl Nayana, making her debut for item song, thanked the filmmakers for giving her an opportunity in Telugu film industry.
