“SIVAJI” IS CREATING HISTORY ALL OVER GLOBE !

Three weeks into its release, the RajniKanth starrer “Sivaji” continues to make waves the world over.According to the grapevine, ‘Sivaji’ is raking it in at the box office, with the collections in India alone touching an astounding Rs 95 crore.Rajni’s magnum opus is being screened in as many as 650 theatres all over India. In Maharashtra, the movie is being shown in 18 theatres, in Kolkata and Delhi, ‘Sivaji’ is on show in four theatres each.

The buzz has it that the Telugu version, which hit the theatres in Andhra Pradesh, is also set the cash registers ringing. The collections so far, according to reports from the State, amount to Rs 18 crore. Even the Tamil original is doing extremely well in Andhra, says reports emanating from Tollywood.

The overseas earnings are as follows: Malaysia Rs 7.8 crore, England Rs 2.78 crore and America Rs 4.5 crore so far.

Japan, where Rajnikant is immensely popular, has also proved to be a top earner for Sivaji, says reports.

It can well and truly be said now that with the release of ‘Sivaji’, the Rajnikant phenomenon has acquired global proportions!
