Raghuvaran as Abdul Kalam

Raguvaran is a multi-faceted actor, who has done varied roles on screen. Having won acclaims for his performance, the actor chose to take a break from acting.

Soon he was back to do what he knows the best. He donned the grease paint for director Karu Pazhaniappan’s Sivapathikaram a Tamil Movie. He followed it up with a brief role in Rajnikanth’s Sivaji.

Among several films that he is currently acting, Raghuvaran is eagerly awaiting the release of Thodakam. He plays the President of India in the movie and has donned a makeup quite similar to A P J Abdul Kalam.

“I was moved to appear as Abdul Kalam. I consider it as an honor. It is one of the best roles that I have ever done”.

Thodakkam is about a group of students who wage a war against terrorist in the country.
