Mahesh Babu bags Filmfare award, Filmfare Awards Details

Prince of Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu is one of the best star-actors in Tollywood. His bevy of awards proves this point. He has already won several Nandi awards including jury awards. And now he wins another Filmfare Award, one of the most popular awards in India.
A Film was Directed and produced by Puri Jagannath on the banner of Vaishno Academy, 'Pokiri' with Maheshbabu as hero, rewrote the collection records of the 75-year-old Telugu film industry. Now the film had won Prince Maheshbabu another Filmfare award as Best Hero.

This is the second Filmfare award for Maheshbabu, with the first one being for 'Okkadu'.

Filmfare (South Awards) award will be presented to Mahesh Babu for his performance in “Pokiri”, that catapulted him to national recognition. Though the awards will be announced officially on the night of August 4th, it is being said that Mahesh is chosen as the best actor by the polls.

And Haa..Hasini GeneliaD'Souza gets the best actress award for her superb act in Bommarillu.

The awards ceremony is to be held at Hyderabad.

These awards would be presented to the winners at Hyderabad on August 4.
