Gundammagari Manavadu celebrated 50 days

Union Minster Dasari Narayana Rao and Victory Venkatesh were the chief guests at the 50 Days function of Gundamma Gari Manavadu, an Ali starrer. Commemorating the movie's 50 days run in 35 centers, the film unit (of RR Movie Makers banner) today held the fete at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. The film was presented by Achi Reddy and directed by B. Jaya. The film industry elite at the venue included MS Raju, SV Krishna Reddy, Seenu Vytla, Devivara Prasad, SS Rajamouli, ML Kumar Chowdary, DVV Danayya, Ali, VV Vinayak, Chandra Siddarth and others. Highlight of the evening is impressive felicitation to Dasari by the unit of GGM through Venkatesh. This was in reciprocation of Dasari's felicitation of 148 directors recently. He was put on a gajamala (giant garland). Later, Venkatesh presented shields to the distributors and Dasari did it for the unit members.

Dasari Narayana Rao richly complimented the GGM team for enlivening the spirit of small producers. "The small movies serve as the backbone of our film industry. They really help generating livelihood to a plethora of artistes and technicians", he said, and congratulated director B. Jaya on this occasion, besides wishing her unbroken success all through her career.
