Dasari, Balayya inaugurate ThinkSmart, Vishnu’s VFX studio




Central Minister Dasari Narayana Rao, hero Nandamuri Balakrishna, state ministers Anam Ramanarayana Reddy and Ponnala Lakshamaiah, ace director K. Raghavendra Rao and hotshot SS Rajamouli inaugurated the extension wings of ThinkSmart, a leading special effects studio in Hyderabad, owned by Dr. Mohan Babu. The inauguration coincided with the 100 Days completion of Vishnu’s smash hit Dhee.

Top personalities of the film industry who graced the function were Giribabu, Syam Prasad Reddy, MM Keeravani, Cherry, KL Narayana, Gemini Kiran, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, MS Raju, KS Rama Rao, Rama Rajamouli, VV Vinayak, DVS Raju, K. Raghavendra Rao, Bellamkonda Suresh, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, C. Kalyan, KC Sekhar Babu, P. Vasu (Chandramukhi director), Ashok Kumar, and others graced the occasion. Dr. Mohan Babu and Vishnu received the guests.

Addressing a press conference, Dr. Mohan Babu said that ThinkSmart is a wonderful name which Vishnu had selected for his company. He wished good luck to his son and sought the good wishes of all the industry personnel for ThinkSmart and its endeavors. He profusely thanked all the guests who attended the inauguration.

ThinkSmart chief and hero Vishnu said: “I look forward to see ThinkSmart as the World’s biggest and the best company in the entertainment sector. We could register excellent advancement in special effects division. Now, our entry into the Animation sector is thoroughly planned. I am happy to give the entire credit to my technical team. We wish to lay much emphasis on Hollywood projects. We also want to exploit the potential in India.”

Vishnu further said that India continues to be a leading filmmaking country in the world. Of more than one thousand films produced last year, about 60% of them have special effects. Telugu film industry has a lion’s share of about 30% of the total Indian films. ThinkSmart wanted to promote the young and brilliant minds in the animation field. Every year, 40 students would be trained in this area on the latest equipment.

He also said that 24 Frames Factory, a content developing company for TV productions, Mobile communication, Radio and Internet areas.
